Vision and approach

Is embroidery boring and old-fashioned? Certainly not. With my textile wall hangings, I show how a centuries-old craft can take on a contemporary look and fit perfectly into modern interiors.

Each piece is created intuitively, without a preconceived plan. Starting with shapes, lines and colour, an abstract composition gradually takes shape, blending organic forms with graphic precision. Finding the right colour combinations is often the first step in this creative process.

I work with various types of canvas, wool, cotton and other natural materials. Depending on the design, I add subtle accents using carefully selected materials, giving each artwork its own unique character. Every piece is entirely handmade and carefully finished.

My wall hangings are deliberately not framed behind glass. This allows the work to stand out more effectively and creates greater interaction with the viewer. It invites you to look at it up close and makes the experience more personal and sensory – which is exactly the intention.
